What to Expect at Your First Visit
Comprehensive exam
Your first visit is all about getting to know you. We review your medical and dental history, take any necessary digital x-rays, perform a gentle exam and discuss your goals. If you're curious about implants or sleep apnea treatment, consultations are complimentary.
Streamlined paperwork
Save time by downloading our new patient forms and completing them at home. If you prefer to fill them out in our office, arrive a few minutes early—we'll have them ready.
Personalized financial discussion
As a fee-for-service practice we work 1:1 you—not insurance companies. This allows us to recommend what's best for your health without being limited by coverage. We'll file claims on your behalf and help you maximize reimbursement. We accept cash, checks and major credit cards, and we offer flexible financing through Cherry and CareCredit. Many patients choose monthly payments to make care more affordable.
Insurance guidance
We are not enrolled providers for Medicaid or Fidelia. However, we do bill medical insurance for sleep apnea treatment and accept Medicare for medically necessary appliances. If you have questions about your coverage, our team is happy to help.
Anxiety & comfort:
If you're nervous about seeing the dentist, let us know. We offer nitrous oxide and other comfort measures to make your visit relaxing. After your appointment, expect a courtesy call from Dr. Dunn to see how you're feeling.
